Ohio Dance Marathon Collaboration

On October 26, 2017 students from all over Ohio and West Virginia were invited to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH to learn how to continue to make a impact for the college campuses Dance Marathon. Bowling Green State University and The University of Toledo represented Mercy Health Children’s Hospital at this event. Presenters Gaelen McCartney, Derek Litts, and Sarah Kelly talked to the students on how to enhance their brand, communicate efficiently with their dancers and learn the new things that donor drive has to offer!

            Students were broken into groups by the positions that they hold at their University to talk to one another and answer any questions that other schools may have had. They worked with one another to learn how this information can continue to benefit their campuses Dance Marathon.  Upon arriving back to their respective campuses, the students were already hard at work implementing what they had learned at the workshop. We cannot wait to see what they do the rest of the school year.
